This book is very interesting and thats why its my favorite book. Its about a little girl named Fern, a baby pig named Wilbur, and a spider named Charlotte. Fern lived on a farm and one sunny morning her dad went out to the pig house to kill a baby pig, Wilbur that is. Fern was very upset at her father for wanting to kill a small baby pig. She kicked and screamed and yelled at her dad. Her dad told her she could keep him just so she could see how much of a responsibility he is, she agreed to take him. Fern and Wilbur became very close and were best friends. Time passed and Wilbur grew big and strong. Fern's father thought it was time to give Wilbur to a farm. Fern was upset at first but she was better when she heard that she could visit him everyday after school.Wilbur was very lonely at the farm, none of the other animals liked him. Until one day he met a spider named Charlotte,Charlotte was a very kind old fellow. But there was a mean little rat named Tompelton he was always scaring Wilbur, Tompelton told Wilbur that the people from the farm were going to eat him for Christmas. Wilbur became very scared and Charlotte wanted to help him. So she made webs containing words. Wilbur then became a famous pig. Charlotte made more webs and Wilbur even went to a fair. The fair was a pig competition and Wilbur won! By this time Charlotte was very old (for a spider). Charlotte passed away and left her babies behind, Wilbur was upset at the fact that Charlotte was dead but he was happy that Charlotte's children were as nice as her. And that the story.
